Utility Assistance

NWIRA’s Utility Assistance program helps Northwest Indiana residents manage the burden of home energy costs. Through our partnerships with state and federal programs, we connect eligible households in Lake, Jasper, Newton, and Porter counties to financial relief for heating and electric bills.

• One-on-one application support from NWIRA staff
• Help for households facing disconnection or already disconnected
• Connection to additional community energy resources
